We have designed and built hundreds of kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment centers, libraries and other customized spaces. We offer free design services for clients that hire us to build their project. We also offer independent design services for a flat fee of $500.
Building services
The expert craftsmen at Smith & Vallee Woodworks, Inc., build your project from scratch. We begin with the finest raw materials that we can find. We pay attention to every detail along the way to ensure a final product that we can look upon with pride.
Installation services
We install all of our own work. This is the only way we can ensure that the high standards that we build our cabinets with are upheld through the final stage of the project.

Cabinetry
Smith & Vallee Woodworks, Inc., has been building cabinetry for every part of your home since 1997. Extraordinary kitchens and bathrooms are just the beginning. We also offer:

Custom woodworking
We are one of the few true custom woodworking businesses. Smith & Vallee Woodworks, Inc., possesses the skills and equipment to complete virtually any woodworking project, ranging from a spiral staircase, to a conference table and chairs, to wooden forms used in industrial processes.
Furniture
Smith & Vallee Woodworks, Inc., has been building fine furniture since 1997. The furniture we create has sold in prestigous craft galleries and museums throughout the Northwest. Over fifty pieces were displayed at the Whatcom Museum in the Tree Project exhibition in 2002. We work directly with our clients to custom build pieces to suit their needs and style. You can see unique pieces displayed in our gallery in Edison, WA.
Sawmilling and kiln drying lumber
In 2005 our company purchased a 36-inch bandsaw mill and a 4,000-board-sfoot dry kiln. We mill much of our own lumber and offer milling and kiln drying services to our customers. Most of the lumber we mill comes from a sustainably harvest forest on the hillside behind our Deming, WA woodshop.

BEING GREEN. Smith & Vallee Woodworks, Inc., has been using FSC certified lumber and plywood from sustainably harvested sources since our inception. Most of the lumber we mill comes from a sustainably harvested forest on the hillside behind our Deming, WA, woodshop. We also work in recycled lumber reclaimed from old buildings and milled specifically for our projects. We believe in designing and building furniture and cabinetry that will last for hundreds of years.
